Spectrum Powder Coaters are excited to announce the appointment of our new General Manager Jonathon Shannon. Jonathon will be bringing his skills and knowledge gained through his working career in the manufacturing centres of the West Midlands to Spectrum in Daventry.

Jon’s Background is in the metal finishing industries as well as health and safety, quality and maintenance and will be a good fit for the company, giving Managing Director Chris Shannon time to concentrate on other business ventures in the coming years. Jonathan is no stranger to Spectrum. As Chris’s nephew, Jon has been around the company since an early age and has grown up with the company. 
 
Jon comments:

“I feel like I have served the longest apprenticeship possible watching the company grow while waiting for the right opportunity to join and now the time is right for both me and Spectrum. I am so excited to now be an integral part of the team working closely with clients.” 
 
Jon comes into the role with a huge amount of experience within the industry. He studied metal fabrication and secured a role at a business in his hometown in the West Midlands. Working his way up from the shop floor, after many years Jon was tasked with building up the clientele within the metal finishing divisions of the company. After quickly proving more than capable within this role, he took on the additional responsibilities of increasing sales and improving production methods, which he successfully achieved. 
 
This background within the metal finishing industry, alongside his experience of cultivating strong working relationships with both staff and management, delivering training and implementing strong health & safety standards means that Jon is an excellent fit for Spectrum Powder Coaters. We were thrilled when Jon accepted the role of General Manager, and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the company.
